I am a drummer, hip hop artist, producer, and also play the bass guitar. These are just some of the many tools I use, and when the time comes, i'll use new ones.
Music is a highly effective tool to spark awareness, spread knowledge and incite a mind-set of change. But that alone means nothing , at the end of the day it's still just music, words, and information .. nothings going to change. Not unless you take action on the awareness and information you receive. Knowing shit doesn't mean shit unless you do something with what you know. That's the point of getting information, to follow through with it and create something tangible. Music won't create a revolution. Only the people listening to it will. You can have 6 billion fans all over the world, each one can hear your message, but without action, it just remains a harmless message.
